Different Games

Games, Organizing

As the creator of Different Games Conference and a founding member of the Different Games Collective I’ve been working alongside a team of dedicated organizers from within the indie games community and academia to produce an annual conference on diversity and inclusivity in games since 2013. In 2018 our annual event featured more than 40 speakers and 30 games.

The collective also hosts an annual scholarship program known as the Different Games Ambassadors to GDC which provides free passes to the annual Game Developers Conference, the games industry’s flagship event, to diverse aspiring game developers as well as Different Games mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the week long event.
