Hemonauts

The result of four years of National Institute of Health funded research and development involving partners at GA Tech, Emory School of Medicine and developers, Thrust Interactive, Hemonauts is an educational STEM learning game focused on increasing disease literacy in pediatric patients with chronic illnesses including sickle cell disorder and diabetes. As part of the Hemonauts team I contributed an original game design used in stage one of our research, and consulted on the design of the projects educational content in addition to conducting qualitative and quantitative research on the games educational outcomes in classroom and hospital settings. Hemonauts is slated for release in Fall of 2020.
