Personal Best is a new event series presented by NYU Game Center which showcases the best practices of contemporary women game designers and researchers through a feminist lens. Co-created and hosted by myself and Game Center MFA candidate, Toni Pizza in partnership with NYU Game Center faculty and staff, our first event “Gaming + Ethiopian Teens = Stronger Together: Researcher Jessica Hammer on Designing Games to Strengthen the Social Lives of Girls” (pictured here) took place on February 19th. Details are available on the NYU Game Center’s blog post about the event.
